My favourite colour is purple. I like most colours, except that I'm not too fond of yellow. I'm a teacher, a student, a wife and a step-mom to four young adult-ish kids. My favourite room is my craft room. I like to play with photography, paper, scrapbooking, book and card making. Thanks for checking out my blog!

  4. Thanks, mum! I'm not sure if I can actually work on this once a week, but it's kind of fun. I have a lot to learn about how this all works. I'm thinking this might be a way to procrastinate on some other "work" I should be doing!

  6. Joan, I love these pages of purple. I think you've found your way in collage, at least for awhile. Since your blog is all about colour how about doing collages about colour? You've done purple and those recent photos of the orange sunset could lead you to do a collage spread about those colors. Then you could put a print of one of the sunset pictures on the page as an accent that will help you remember that incredible experience.
I love sunsets and when my daughter was still at home I'd often call to her "Oh Jill, look at the beautiful sunset". Of course she'd say a teen's version of "oh Mother!" but now that she's the mother of a teen herself I hear her saying the same thing to her kids. It's never too late to rapture over a colorful sky.

  7. Oh Jo, it is so fun to know you looked at my blog and you commented! You are such an inspiration! Thanks for the idea of other colours collages- it has crossed my mind! I like the idea of adding a photo in that complements the collage colour. Stay tuned...I will work on that. I have two ideas for collages in line, so I will collect my bits to do the colours after that! Thanks.
